In Detroit, spring 1994, paired briefly with Junior 92R, then evicted by Sunrise 55R, at Connor Creek Detroit Edison Power Plant, Detroit MI. Suspect she was bird on territory in 2000, after 2 unbanded fledges were discovered, paired with unknown banded male. 2001: paired with Will bl04Y, eggs laid but did not hatch. 2002: no breeding but suspect bigamous pairing with Will bl04Y; 2003: paired with unknown adult male, NB; 2004: same site, new male Gold bg 90/H, 4 eggs laid, 2 hatch; 2005: same site, new male Bor bg 03/N, 2 hatch; 2006: same site, same pair, 4 eggs laid, 1 hatch; 2007: same site, same pair, 3 eggs laid, 1 hatch. nest tray installed on east side of tower for observation purposes; 2008: same site, same pair, 1 egg laid, 1 hatched but did not survive to banding age. 2009: same site, same pair, 3 eggs laid, 0 hatch, eggs very small; 2010: same site, same pair, no eggs; 2011: same site, same pair, no eggs; 2012: same site, same pair, no eggs. Observed alive and photographed on 3/25/12 on site at City Hall, Minneapolis MN and paired with Bor b/g 03/N. On 4/25/12 a new female was observed on territory with Bor. 6/10/2013: Josephine's carcass was retrieved from the east side of the building, with USGS band only and confirmed to be the same bird here since 2000 from photographic evidence.
