Seen at Montgomery Ward tower, Midway, St. Paul MN 02/27 or 28/93 by Robert Anderson; found by Daryl Councilman paired with male 74X in box on smokestack at Boswell Energy Center, Cohasset MN in April 1993; fought with adult female who came into territory in late April, fight in nest box around 05/15, 78R found dead near Blandin plant on west edge of Grand Rapids 05/24/93. Presumed diagnosis of lead poisoning, but fight with peregrine probably implicated. New female adult apparently nesting, has red band on right leg.
