2009-paired with Elspeth b/r 27/A, Lock and Dam 1, Minneapolis, MN, nested unsuccessfully due to nearby construction. 2010-same pair, same site, 4 eggs laid, 3 fledged. 2011-same site, same pair, 2eggs laid, 2hatched but one chick died at about 15 days of age. At banding time, the remaining chick was small for the age-1 female. Chick fledged successfully. 2012-paired early in season, thru May, with Elspeth b/r 27/A at same site. However, by late May, found to be nesting on nearby Fork Parkway Bridge, St. Paul, with Zipper b/r *X/*Y. Four chicks hatched but were not banded due to safety issues, so unable to determine paternity of any chicks. Only 2 males appeared to fledge successfully. 2013-paired with new male, 0 band adult; 3 eggs laid, 2 young hatch. 01/17/14 - TRC received a call from Mpls Animal Control. Member of public saw the bird fly into a window at 1805 West Lake Street in Mpls, with a pigeon in talons, on 1/16/14. Called Animal Control, who contacted TRC. Weight at time of death was 1080 grams - excellent plumage and body condition
