6/23/07 Observed to be on territory at Lock and Dam 1, Mpls, MN with breeding female Amelia b/g 0/*G and four recent fledling chicks-he is not the sire of the brood. Remained on territory throughout the fall. 2008-same site, same pair, 5 eggs laid but none hatched due to death of Amelia during incubation period. At TRC in mid summer 2008 with head and spinal trauma. USFWS band was constricting leg and removed in clinic. He was released in August 2008, back on territory with a new USFWS band number 1126-06494. 2011-paired with unbanded female at the Burlington Northern Railroad bridge, Prescott, WI. pair fledged 3 young-2 males and 1 female. Chicks not banded due to access issues.
