2011 - observed April 22 in downtown Winnipeg with Cowboy (bl C/*Y), laid eggs at HSC/CSC site, nest abandonned after second egg laid then pair disappeared from all their usual haunts at the beginning of July only for one bird (Cowboy) to reappear the end of the first week in August. Found Kate's remains on August 10th at Portage and Main. Based on the condition of her remains, we suspect she died between August 1st and 5th and given the location of her remains, we are confident she died due to a collision with the Canwest Building at Portage and Main.
